# Terms of Service
_Last updated: April 10, 2026_
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of overbriefed.com and the Overbriefed service ("Overbriefed"). By creating an account or using Overbriefed, you agree to these Terms. Overbriefed is currently in paid public beta.
## 1. The service
Overbriefed is a chat-first AI notebook and relationship memory infrastructure product. Core capabilities include a personal journal, pre-meeting briefs, client dossiers, and native read-only integrations with GoHighLevel, Zoom, Fathom, and Slack. The product is in paid public beta and is updated continuously.
## 2. Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Overbriefed. You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
## 3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate any law or any third-party right, including intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the service or circumvent any security or rate-limiting mechanism.
- Use Overbriefed to store or process data you are not authorized to store or process.
- Use the service for unsolicited commercial communication.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
## 4. Your data
You retain all ownership rights to the data in your journal. We process that data only to operate the service for you. We do not train general-purpose AI models on customer data. See the Privacy Policy and Data Ownership Statement for the full position.
## 5. Integrations
When you connect a third-party integration such as GoHighLevel, Zoom, Fathom, or Slack, you authorize Overbriefed to read data from that tool under the read-only scopes you grant. We do not write back to your connected tools. You can disconnect at any time.
## 6. Beta status
Overbriefed is currently in paid public beta. The service may experience downtime, bugs, and significant product changes. Beta members lock in floor pricing for the life of their account, but feature parity, API stability, and service-level commitments are not guaranteed during beta.
## 7. Subscription, billing, and refunds
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time from inside your account — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods during beta except where required by law.
## 8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms or use the service in a way that threatens the security or stability of Overbriefed for other users. Upon termination, you may export your journal within 30 days before it is permanently deleted.
## 9. Disclaimers
Overbriefed is provided "as is" during beta. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the brief generated for any meeting will be complete. Use the service with appropriate judgment for the stakes of the relationship.
## 10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Overbriefed's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid Overbriefed in the 12 months preceding the claim.
## 11. Changes to these Terms
We will post material changes to these Terms on overbriefed.com/legal/terms-of-service and notify beta members directly via email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
## 12. Contact
