# Privacy Policy _Last updated: April 10, 2026_ This Privacy Policy describes how Overbriefed ("Overbriefed", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use overbriefed.com and the Overbriefed service. Overbriefed is currently in paid public beta. ## Short version - We only collect the data you give us directly and the data you explicitly authorize through OAuth when you connect integrations. - We do not train AI models on your data. - We do not sell, rent, or share customer data with third parties for marketing. - You can export your journal at any time and delete your account at any time. ## What we collect **Account data.** Name, email address, billing information, and authentication tokens for the integrations you connect. **Journal data.** Thoughts, notes, and conversations you log through the chat interface. Contact data and conversation history pulled from integrations you explicitly authorize — currently GoHighLevel, Zoom, Fathom, and Slack. All integrations are read-only. **Usage data.** Standard application telemetry: pages viewed, features used, errors encountered. We use this to fix bugs and improve the product. ## How we use it - To operate the Overbriefed service and keep your journal available to you. - To generate briefs, dossiers, and chat answers grounded in your data. - To send you product updates and support communications. - To fulfill our legal obligations. We do not use customer data to train general-purpose AI models. Retrieval and generation for your own journal happens against models we use under provider terms that prohibit training on our customer data. ## Who we share it with - **Subprocessors.** A small number of infrastructure providers: our hosting provider, our database provider, our model provider. Each is bound by written data-processing terms. We will maintain a current list on request to support@overbriefed.com. - **Legal obligations.** We will disclose data when compelled by law, subpoena, or valid legal process. - **Nobody else.** We do not sell, rent, or share customer data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing partners. ## Your rights - **Access and export.** Export your full journal at any time from inside your account. - **Deletion.** Delete your account from inside your account settings. Deletion is permanent within 30 days. - **Correction.** Edit or delete individual journal entries at any time. - **Disconnect.** Disconnect any integration at any time. Existing data remains in the journal unless you delete it. ## Children Overbriefed is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. ## Changes We will post material changes to this policy on overbriefed.com/legal/privacy-policy and notify beta members directly via email. ## Contact Questions about this policy, data access, or deletion requests: **support@overbriefed.com**.
